How do I get a Disney FastPass?
- Near the attraction's entrance is a series of Disney FastPass Machines. Simply, insert your admission ticket, and the machine will spit out a paper FastPass ticket indicating the time you need to return.
- The FastPass System gives you a one hour window to work with. For example, the FastPass may read "Please return anytime between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m." This is the time to go enjoy other things in the park. Just remember to return to the FastPass line at the attraction during the designated time, so you don't miss your ride or show.
- A cast member will double-check your FastPass before allowing you into the line. Keep hold of your FastPass ticket, because at many of the attractions, a second cast member will re-check your FastPass before letting you hop on the ride. (This prevents people from trying to sneak from the nearby standby line into the FastPass line.)
- You won't be able to get another FastPass for any ride until it's time for you to return for the first ride/show OR if two hours have passed since you obtained the first FastPass.

Taking A Cruise With Children under Twelve: What Activites Are Available?
Each year, a large number of individuals make the decision to take a cruise. Cruise ships are a great location to have your next vacation. If given the opportunity, many parents would choose to take a cruise alone. This isn’t because of a lack of love, but because of a common misconception among parents and cruise ships. Many individuals, including parents, believe that cruise ships are not designed for children, but that is simply not true.

Disney FastPass Tips and FastPass Strategies
- First and foremost, and probably the most obvious FastPass Tip and Strategy is to simply plan ahead and get to the parks early, especially during peak periods. You may be able to simply waltz into some of the rides and shows. You'll also be able to get FastPasses with quick return times for the most popular attractions much quicker. Later in the day, FastPasses can dry up and the lines can get much longer. It's worth losing a little sleep over.
- The FastPass will have a return time indicated on the pass. While you can't use the pass before the return time, you can use it anytime after the return time-even if the time has "expired."
- Remember you can have only one FastPass at a time (unless you have an Enhanced FastPass from AAA), so look at the posted standby line time. The standby time may be short enough that it's not worth wasting a FastPass on. Simply wait in the regular line and use FastPass later for a more crowded attraction. On less busy days, you may only need to use the FastPass system once or twice, if at all.
- The FastPasses for some attractions are gone before the end of the day. Make sure you get your FastPass early in the day for popular attractions.
- Keep your eye out or ask a Disney cast member if any FastPass machines are handing out so-called 'surprise' FastPasses. These surprise tickets, spit out at the same time as a regular FastPass, will allow you to skip the line for a second attraction. A nice surprise, indeed.
- If you have some young and energetic legs in your group, hand them all of your park passes and have them get the FastPasses. You can order their meals or start some other activity while they're traveling across the park.
- Don't get caught having to wait on one side of the park, when you want to go to the other side. Take a look at the posted FastPass return time. There are signs at the entrance of all FastPass-enabled attractions that indicate the current return times. It may not be worth sticking around for, and you may want to skip the FastPass. Remember, you can't get another FastPass until it's time for you to return for the first attraction (or two hours have lapsed).
- Here's a nifty FastPass trick - take a look at the posted FastPass return time and the standby line time. If it looks close enough, you may be able to get a FastPass, wait in the standby line, then get back in the FastPass line for an immediate re-ride.
